Posada
Hambare is located in the heart of the “argentinean
Mesopotamia”, one of the largest “water
reserve” of the world, at only 580 km. from the
capital of Argentina, more precisely, at the
southwest of the Province of Corrientes. The
nearest city from Hambare is called Esquina which
is 3 km. away.
Esquina is known as the “Southern entrance” of
the Province and it is located, as well as Hambare
along the left side of the Corriente river.
|
In
addition to this, another important aspect is
that in front of the city, this river joins the
Parana one giving a great and unique colour
combination; the clear waters from the Corriente
together with the reddish one of the Parana one. |

It is an area where the climate and the
enviroment are very helful and appropiate for
fishing and hunting. It is a combination and
transition from the tropical weather in the
summer to a cold winter in July.
The
means of transportation can either be by
land or by plane, being the nearest ones
the airport of Santa Fe at 285 km. away
and the one in Goya at 100 km. from
Esquina.

The city itself has a private “airclub”
with a landing pist of 800 mts. of grass
where only small planes can land.
On the other hand, the rutes 12 and 6
indicated on the also map show the way
to Esquina, otherwise, very modern and
confortable overnight buses arrive to
the city as well.
